It's one of my favorite strips by one of my favorite people, and I'd say check it out, but I'm pretty sure there's nobody left on Earth who doesn't read it.

I will say you should really try out one of his Super Stupor mini-comics. I say "mini," but they're really only mini in height/width dimensions.  The story is dense enough to fill a mainstream comic trade paperback.  I'm always surprised at how, in addition to Randy's usual daily comic, he can simultaneously whip up this amazingly orchestrated and emotionally provocative story that plays brilliantly with superhero tropes.  So jealous.  I love these little things.  They're glossy genius.

First, a reminder that I'm going to be in Austin, Texas, this weekend for Webcomic Rampage!  Click the bolded link to the left for more info.  I'll have lots of Book 4 with me!

Some of my favorite webcomics people and myself thought it'd be helpful to put together a shopping list of Items of Interest for the webcomics lover in your family.  This Christmas, give the gift of, let's face it, mostly fart jokes.

At this writing, there's fewer than 23 hours left to preorder/pledge for Shortpacked! Book 4!   If you want to make sure you get a sketched-in book or a chance at some unique swag, this is your last chance.  Don't miss out!

Also, I've just put in for an Artist Alley table at BotCon this summer.  So look for me there!  At least, look for me there when there's not an interesting panel or it's lunch or something.  I'll be bringing Dinobot posters and some other interesting new goodies.

HEY DUDES! Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, the best webcomic you are or are not reading, now has a book!  You may remember SMBC as the fantastic webcomic that pulled off this amazing feat, re: gayness.   As for its book, you should totally get one.  And then put it right next to your eventual SP! Book 4, like they're making out.

That's right. Both our books are dudes.

One of the best people in the world, Dave Kellett, is up for an Eisner Award this year!  His collection of Sheldon comics about literature has been nominated for "Best Humor," and dude deserves a win.  He's not only a best peoples, but he's also a fantastic cartoonist.  A cartoonist's cartoonist.  A god among men.

You could get lost in his eyes.

If you're eligible to vote in the Eisner Awards (meaning, you're a cartoonist or graphic novelist of any stripe), you're invited to download a PDF of his Literature book for free.  Y'know, just so you know that, come voting time, you're making the right choice.

In the realm of somewhat less important voting, Hasbro's assembled the Transformers Hall of Fame votes they've received from the Various Internets into a list of final five nominees.  You can start voting on them now at transformers.com!  Be sure to click their graphics so you can read their profile.  I am not going to tell you to vote for Waspinator.

Maximumble: Putting the sequential back into Sequential Art

So, like, Chris Hallbeck is one of my best buddies. We've shared convention tables so many times, it's like we're married! Sometimes we finish each other's sentences.

He's known to mortals as That Guy Who Does The Book of Biff.   (He also looks like a taller version of my roommate, Steve-o.)  But now he has a second webcomic, Maximumble, and this one has more than one panel per day. In fact, it has three panels per day! With a full four panels per day now, that's quadrupling his output!

Anyway, Maximumble is really funny and you should read it.

Danielle Corsetto is having a Week of Insanity, so I've given her the night off.  Go check out my guest strip at Girls with Slingshots!  GwS is one of my most favoritest webcomics in the world, so I was really really happy and honored to be able to draw it this once!

Even better yet, you can find both Danielle and I at Webcomic Rampage this weekend in Austin, Texas!  It will be so friggin' rad you can't even believe it.

If you're wondering who the toy is, it's this dude.  He looks like one, but at least he isn't named after one.

Hey, troops!  (Hmmm, I like using the word "troops."  Can I start addressing you as troops?)  Next weekend I'm gonna be in Austin, Texas, at the Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy store for Webcomic Rampage, joined by all of your other favorite webcartoonists.  Part of the gearing up for this special event is the Dragon's Lair's podcast, which this past week interviewed both myself and Joel Watson.  You can listen to this podcast on their website!

If you're planning on attending the Webcomic Rampage panel that opens both days of the event, be sure to RSVP via Facebook or phone, as there's limited seating available!  After the panel there'll be some signing and some wares snagging.  You won't want to miss it!

Your friend and mine, Zach Weiner, who you definitely know from Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal,  has teamed up with Chris Jones to create Captain Stupendous.  It's his first book through a major publisher, and it'd be awesome if we could help make it a success.  If you like deconstructed superheroics, give Captain Stupendous a look.

At the moment, I'm putting together the packaging art for the box for PatchTogether's Robin DeSanto statue.  The statues are shipping out from the overseas factory tomorrow, with expected delivery at the end of the year or the beginning of next.  There's only 20 of these statues left unbought, so you'd better get on her before she's gone!

Next I need to figger out what Ethan's statue is gonna look like.

And finally, today Something Positive name-drops Roz, because the name on her birth certificate is actually "that crazy girl."

Hey, dudes!  Maggie and I are on the road to Easthampton, Massachusetts, for New England Webcomics Weekend.  Why?  Because NEWW is friggin' awesome.

We'll be there for the Pub Crawl on Friday night, plus both "real" days, Saturday and Sunday.  There are over 50 webcartoonists at this thing, plus MC Frontalot!  Basically, if a meteor hits this town this weekend, the Internet is dead.  All you'll have left is the LOLcats website and Movie-Comics.

I'll have a table where I'll be hanging out.  I'll have the Roomies! book, the two remaining Shortpacked! volumes, and some brand-spankin' new Dumbing of Age merchandise.  Posters!  Hats!  Also, high-fives.

New England Webcomics Weekend, the best thing ever in the whole damn world, is this Saturday and Sunday in Easthampton, Massachusetts!  I am serious, it is like eating chocolate while having sex on top of an airplane that Indiana Jones is piloting.  I get a boner just thinking about Webcomics Weekend.

There's also a neat Pub Crawl the Friday night before that I recommend.  It is booze + webcartoonists + strangers.

I'll of course have my stuff with me, the books and posters and hats and what not.  But those are always second to the Experience.   Every webcartoonist you've ever heard of will be there.  And we'll all be high-fiving.  Constantly.  Oh my god.
