Mashed potatoes

I am home from a boat! And upon arrival in Columbus, my home, I think the boat's flu bug finally caught up with me.  Not bad timing, really, considering the alternatives, but bleh.  I really hope they're Chris Collingwood's flu germs.  That'd be neat.  More like FLUtains of Wayne, amirite???? [caption id="attachment_6808" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="Look, foreign countries are great and all, but do they have unlimited mashed potatoes out there? No!"][/caption] Today is a comic I drew during my trip.  You see, on boats, there is too much food, you can eat as much of it as you want, and you already paid for it, so it feels free.  And so you end up eating every forty-five minutes.  I am not joking.  And because I am the way I am, I can easily build up a "loyalty" to my favorite meals, feeling like I should eat them in proportion to my professed love for them, not in proportion to my hunger.  What this means is if I discover delicious mashed potatoes on Friday, and that is the only day they will likely appear, I feel like I need to eat the week's accumulation of potatoes I would have eaten were they there the whole time.  It is a sickness.  And is something I could have described better in the comic itself if I drew it digitally, where I can rewrite dialog over and over to my heart's content, and not on a piece of paper, where I am dumb and ink things immediately. Anyway.  I hope you liked the crossover with Multiplex that happened while I was gone!  I am considering skipping to a new ongoing storyline starting Wednesday.  Or at least I was, until I realized I had this flu.  Let's see if my might exceeds its might.
