Some of you seem to have missed seeing this list the first time, so here I am linking it for you all. I came up with this style of pictoral thought balloons for a Dumbing of Age strip that I drew several weeks ago, and I really liked it, so I used it in this strip as well.  As DoA has a muuuch larger buffer than Shortpacked!, meaning the original usage hasn't shown its face yet, it's a little weird to me that this second implementation is publishing first.  Huh. (Also, I felt kind of bad leaving the end of this strip where it is, as it suggests some unfortunate implications.  Those'll get cleared up in subsequent installments.  Don't yell at me yet!)
