Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame!

[caption id="attachment_3359" align="alignleft" width="202" caption=""Heads, I'm Batman. Tails, I'm still Batman.""][/caption] I was a little torn on this guy. Last week, he came out alongside the Stephanie Batgirl, but buying two DC Direct toys in one week is a bit much for my budget. So I chose the one I definitely wanted, and decided that if this guy was still there next week I'd get him, too. He was still there, so. The Two-Face Batman is bittersweet. See, there was this "Battle for the Cowl" promo poster that showed him in it as one of the potential replacements for Batman (since Bruce was dying and all). And he was friggin' awesome. Outlandish, yes, but you know me. I often love outlandish things. And then he never showed up in the storyline. And then once Dick took on the Batman role, finally, Two-Face showed up dressed in this costume. ...for like a panel, because it was just a drug-addled hallucination on Dick's part. Lame! Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame! I was so excited for that costume. And then they totally pulled the rug out from under it. Curse you, DC! But yet they still made a toy of it. So I got it. Because Two-Face Batman is totally rad. I love the silver-age style capsules on one side of the belt and the modern-age style pouches on the other. I love how the Batsymbol is different on each side. I love the bright red and the dark blue. I love the gun. And I especially love that it's friggin' Two-Face dressed up like Batman. Also, hey, bicep rotation articulation. Bonus! Meanwhile, the blurb on the back of the packaging claims that this Two-Face totally showed up for real. Like hell he did! Screw you, DC!
