Argh. Apologies. I must have bumped a button and swapped pages like a dork fish. That comment wasn't meant for this page at ALL. I shouldn't comment from my phone.

Oh thank GOD, a lovable new character. I recognized her from the Starfire one shot before she mentioned it, but I was nervous that she was just a lookalike. I was SO hoping she'd be the same nerd-gal and we'd get a really cool new character. I want to set Malaya on fire, although Ken's a decent dude and Arnold is fun. I'm not sure about Ethan's new boyfriend's name (I THINK it's Manny), but I LOVE him!! Drew pissed me off towards the end. His behavior about Ethan's harmless, joy-bringing hobby pissed me off beyond all reason because it reminded me of the way my abusive ex would belittle me over everything I did because he wanted me to be subservient to HIS wants. Drew wasn't THAT big of a douche or anything, but he wasn't willing to budge at all, and that's WAY more unhealthy than Ethan's toys. *Note: I began ranting about people who condemn you collectors which turned this into like a 20-page post, so I'm condensing: I've seen people who condemn geeks/nerds (I'm counting ALL of us from toy collectors to cosplayed to comic fans to gamers in here, we're all family), yet think that "oh, drinking and driving isn't evil. Everyone messes up a little here and there" or think drug use is "an acceptable hobby." NOT joking. People who collect stamps/coins/string/rubber bands/post cards/ and even dead damn bugs are acceptable. But if you collect toys "you have an addiction," or "this isn't healthy," or "you're a pedophile." The level of hypocrisy in our society over something as harmless as *gasp* having FUN as an adult in a way that DOESN'T involve a DEATH risk or cancer or....drives me mad.

"Do you guys ever wonder what it would be like if we met in Edwardian England and lived in a manor house?"
"I hope we never find out."

...I would read Walkerton Abbey. I'm just sayin'.
