In the UK, there actually *is* a real rock band comprised of three current members (and one former member) of the House of Commons (equivalent to the US House of Reps).
But at least they made the effort! I wish politicians in Canada did stuff like that. Instead they’re too busy cutting funding to the arts and pretending the tar sands don’t exist. (at least the current one is — trying to imagine Harper in a band is like trying to imagine Andy Warhol as an accountant)
Oh, if there was a Rock Band room in the Capitol that would be AWESOME!
I always pictured Obama’s voice as too deep to pull off a Bon Jovi song.
Aw… they’re playing my class song… and what’s sad about that is that I didn’t graduate in the 80s… in fact, that song is about as old as I am… :/
… I would approve of my tax dollars going towards this.
Only if it is aired to the public. I wanna see Obama botch up Kung Fu Fighting.
Best comic posted on my birthday so far.
Beuller? CLASSIC!
Oh my god. Ferris Bueller reference. You just made my day.
It was the Doonesbury reference that got me.

He played piano and sang a John Lennon song (ironically I’m sure). Where were you?
Australia will do you one better and have a former lead singer of Midnight Oil, Peter Garret on the front bench
What I want to know is, how do you fail on vocals?
