Hell, I didn’t even watch it. I’ve never seen an episode of Smallville in my life. I just know that it gave us the JSA in live-action, which is something I’ve wanted ever since the superhero film boom started.
God, I hated Smallville. Great concept, no way to make it interesting beyond that. And really, if kryptonite affected humans, Lex Luthor would be a mutant by now. Although he did manage to get himself poisoned from over-exposure…but that took about five years, and with him keeping it close to him the whole time.
One of the big problems with the show was that the actors playing Clark and Lana had NO chemistry whatsoever but the show kept pushing them together again and again.
I dunno, I kind of liked that about the way the relationship was portrayed… like, high school kids who’d had a long brewing mutual infatuation, thought being together would be the Bestest Thing Evar, yet no matter how many times they tried, in the process of growing up, would eventually realise they were so inherently not right for each other (even if Lana hadn’t become all krytonite-radioactive).
maybe if i watch more smallville i get to understand the final 2 panels…
….AH dont worth it. (jk, actually its a good series)
I gave it up early in the third season.
I came in during the sixth, supposedly it got good sometime during the fourth. Once they got rid of the high school drama.
This show gave us a live-action version of the JSA. That makes me forgive EVERYTHING.
too bad that episode was TERRIBAD

not to mention Booster Gold, which was awesome by the way, any Geoff Johns episode is worth watching

Yea didn’t the man wear kryptonite like UNDERWEAR for years before he got sick from it?
I loved Smallville. And yeah, Chloe’s right. Lana became a bitch.
AGREED!
“Became”?
I use to love Smallville (mainly for Tom Welling’s abs) but I gave it up after he chose to save Lana causing his father to die.
Yeah I would of rather see her die then one of the Duke Boys.

I watched maybe two episodes of Smallville, but even Tom Sexyfine Welling couldn’t keep my interest.
The show would have been a hell of a lot better if the lead could act.
