      Nope he’s blind. Maybe he read the braille screenplay in the theater.

      Daredevil = Blind
      “Best movie I’ve seen” = He hasn’t seen ANY movie, therefore it’s an empty compliment
      Joke = Explained

        Not to nitpick here…er wait, yes, to nitpick here:

        Daredevil wasn’t born blind. o.O So it is entirely possibly and likely that he saw movies as a kid.

      Actually the blind daredevil got arrested and put in jail. The daredevil during the civil war was actually the guy who used to be Iron fist.

    I like the Mandarin. A very good comic book East Asian villain (and probably the only one I know). They could make a good movie about Iron Man x the Mandarin where the subtext was about the US x China rivalry.

    But Hollywood won’t do that anymore.

      there is Egg Fu, an old Wonder Woman villain, Vandal Savage was the leader of the mongols at one point, though that probably doesn’t count, most of Iron Fist’senemies are probably from China with him being all Kung Fu, I’m sure there’s more, but most are probably either a joke or a racist caricature. so yeah, Mandarin is probably the most well known

        Lady Shiva comes to mind, as well as White Canary. Lord Death Man, IIRC.

    I’m pretty sure Kingpin is a spidey villain, but he mostly is associated with DareDevil for a long long time.

    He was DD’s villain longer than he was Spidey’s

      To be fair, there’s way too many heroes and villains in New York, they were always bound to just end up mixing and matching.

      But Kingpin did first appear in a Spidey comic, which does technically make him a Spidey villain.
