Last panel is the most awesome panel ever
Their noses look alike. And their…um, their…huh. I honestly cannot see a resemblance between
Faz and pre-makeover Amber.
Same chin shape, and check panel 5; same chin dimple.
What strip is the makeover?
It’s so weird to see Faz NOT refer to himself as Faz.
Ninja Rick’s last line here may be one of the most deeply unsettling pieces of innuendo I have ever read. Especially in the context of gay sex.
I can imagine Rick’s quote been used in a number of yaoi and bara fanfics.
I would have totally lost respect for Rick if he were to be the ‘catcher’ in this instance. I hope he was well paid.
…Why would you have respect for Ninja Rick. It’s only contrast to Faz that keeps him from being the creepiest loser cast member.
WTF is that suppose to mean?
I’ll tell you when you’re older.
So . . . . many . . . . disturbing . . . . images.
Err maybe what Ninja Rick is saying is that he has to deflower a virgin…a female virgin…cause thats the only way i can think of that his…sword…is gonna taste blood…..excuse m,e while i bleach my brain
And this is how we introduce Faz, with Yo Hay.
Talk about Art Evolution, Faz is more tall and more bishie not short and chibi. At lease Amber goes through makeovers.
Now I think about it, It’s not Art Evolution it’s a case of Fridge Brilliance. Head Alien II said everyone will have backstories so I guess Amber had two good parents till the Drama Tag cosmic retcon the Walkyverse.
So I guess Amber’s idiot dad never sleep with Faz’s mother and had a different father instead.
Except when Robin moved in and said that her dad beat her Amber chastised her for it, saying that one person’s hyperbole is another’s reality. So she did in fact still have a bastard father before the Tag. If anything, it just caused him to show up again.
Maybe the Korean Mafia bit was the Drama Tag retcon?
That, or Faz shrank with his competence.
I suspect that the drama tag didn’t retcon anything, it merely caused the existing drama to become more obvious in the workplace.
Before it was pulled, for instance, Amber’s dad might’ve shown up eventually at her apartment, or may have permanently stayed away, but instead he showed up immediately at the store.
Dude, Rick, it’s called lubrication.
