     Now I think about it, It’s not Art Evolution it’s a case of Fridge Brilliance. Head Alien II said everyone will have backstories so I guess Amber had two good parents till the Drama Tag cosmic retcon the Walkyverse.

     So I guess Amber’s idiot dad never sleep with Faz’s mother and had a different father instead.

       Except when Robin moved in and said that her dad beat her Amber chastised her for it, saying that one person’s hyperbole is another’s reality. So she did in fact still have a bastard father before the Tag. If anything, it just caused him to show up again.

           I suspect that the drama tag didn’t retcon anything, it merely caused the existing drama to become more obvious in the workplace.

           Before it was pulled, for instance, Amber’s dad might’ve shown up eventually at her apartment, or may have permanently stayed away, but instead he showed up immediately at the store.
