   It’s hard to imagine Superman in anything other than the tights. I remember being a little surprised seeing him in a spacesuit during the animated series.

     They tried to get him out of the tights and into something modern back in the 90s… the fans were less than happy.

   Frankly, I’ve always thought that a uniform-type deal would work for a modern version. But tights could work too…. without the little red briefs. That’s all I’m saying.

     I don’t get this train of thought, especially with the comics now and the movie coming out soon. What is so wrong with the red briefs?! They’re just about as iconic as the rest of Supe’s outfit, why try to get rid of them?

   Kinda late for commenting, but I have to say it: I hate the lack of red briefs. Not only they’re iconic, they make the colors of the suit more properly dispersed. Without them, Superman looks less like a superhero and more like a guy who just got out of bed.
