I haven’t seen either of the Cars movies. The cars in those movies always struck me as being creeeeepy… (shudders)

Maybe it’s because my first real exposure to “living” cars was Christine?

That’s a good point, and that does show a strong precedence for them taking other properties (just open source fairy tales for the older stuff you cited) and making it there own.

God, I want a sequel so bad.

But supposedly Rich Ross lost his job** over it’s perceived flop, so that is sadly a long shot to hope for.

**(I personally think he got the pink slip for trying to pass the buck to Pixar.)
