Also, Leslie and Robin have definitely been sexualized before, as they were in a relationship. There’s been many strips of them naked in bed together. So that part is pretty incorrect, at least.

You do understand that sexism, racism, homophobia, etc, are not just spread by dudes in white hoods, right? People who think of themselves as “not sexist” still say sexist thing, such as THAT DUDE IN THE STRIP. Sometimes we need to be confronted with our own hypocrisy, and I think that comic did that well.

You know that “punch line” you guys are all screaming about? That’s usually a result of an exaggeration. If Willis just literally wrote only what had happened to him, word for word, it would be a Harvey Pekar comic.

Yeah, a good portion of the Bat-verse female characters are as covered-up, or more, than the male ones. Batgirl, Batwoman, Catwoman, Harley Quinn- the only real exceptions would be Poison Ivy, which makes sense since her concept is about sexuality, and Huntress, whose ab-window makes no freakin’ sense.
