TCampbell, that is a point but if it’s because HE decided he wanted to be there and not because he was asked to then it’s still entirely up to him. If Amber wanted the support or to share the moment with her friends then this does reflect poorly on him. If it’s just that he wanted to be there then it’s entirely his choice how fast he gets there, no matter what he says to Leslie or anyone else.

“I’ll be right there” can mean anythign from ‘I’m leaving immediately’ to ‘I’m leaving as soon as I’m done what I’m doing’.
