She looks mildly traumatised to me. In a kind of “who is this strange person that isn’t mommy, and why are they feeding me instead of mommy?”.

Same way my cousin’s freshly unboxed miniature human did when I had to hold her for a while… but having nothing to feed her with, the unfamiliarity factor won out over the “hey, they’re feeding and changing me, they must be alright” one so the tears started again.

I made it about five seconds, to the point where there was mention of the New York Times, but “New York” was ~~struck out~~ and replaced by “Saddam” in bold italics.

Well, her death was retconned, but I’m pretty sure all the stuff Black Mask did to her still happened.
Not counting the last year or so of NEW DC Universe, of course…
