Well, most people who play tabletops in our area use figures, which are tiny like 1-inch dolls, often modded. But there’s also more interesting variants…

I once let a guy who was DMing at our place borrow a hippo toy I had picked up at Target. It was like a six inch long hippo that was quite realistic-looking except for the HIDEOUSLY BLOOD-RED EYES.

Considering that a 1-inch square on a D&D map is the eqivalent of a 5ft one in-game, that would be be 30-ft long, maybe 15-20 ft tall, hippo monster with blood-colored eyes.

I don’t know if they beat it, but that had to have been kind of an entertaining session…

I watch a couple of fan art groups on deviantArt and I caught enough of that tempest in a teapot to last a lifetime.

Frankly, I wasn’t that fond of the idea of having her talk, just because I think they’ve been pandering a bit too much to the Internet fans. I don’t want them to lose sight of what made the show fun in the first place.
