First off, I love it when we get to see “tender” moments between Mike and Amber, especially with the baby on the way.

Second, I feel that Amber is breaking the fourth wall in that last panel…..do the readers who don’t know their real fathers feel like they are now more connected to her?

I love the fact Mike actually wanted to punch out Amber’s father for being a Jerk. This entire strip really does seem to give off a “Mike genuinely cares about Amber” vibe.
