I think Satan would prefer to see a Defenders movie because then there’d be a chance his son Daiman Hellstrom would be in it.
Of course He does -Black Sabbath’s in the soundtrack (and on the tee that Robert Downy Jr wears for most of the film)
I’m just back from watching it and all I can say is YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Of course he loves it with infernal glee – all that money and avarice … plus all those residuals … lust, greed, envy …. its a bonanza of evil franchising … and makes an “in-your-face-old-school” to the lil upstarts at Fox.

I thought that the funnies part of today’s comic was the list of movies that Jesus has seen.
I love that Ethan thinks it needed batman…give a month or 2…you’ll get your spandex wearing bat themed crime-fighter Ethan.

At the midnight release and I’m reading a comic about how awesome the movie is going to be.

That would make this a totally different comic.
Robin sees a tag on the wall that says “Spoilers” and pulls it. Suddenly River Song appears instead of the Head Alien.
“Hi. Ethan is gay, Amber’s father was abusive, and you are totally going to fall in love with a lesbian then bang a dude and get dumped. Also, the Second Coming will occur, but it will involve less fire and brimstone and more going to see the Avengers with Jesus. That movie will rock, by the way. Spoilers!”
“Have you guys gotten to the part with Amber’s dad yet? If so what do you think about the whole him abusing her thing and then dying before she can tell him off?”
“Oh, and Robin, remember to keep replacing Amber’s birth control pills; Mike will LOVE you for it!”
I notice Jesus apparently needs to wear his blue robe-thingy with his street clothes as well. I can just imagine Robin stalking him everywhere, ready to kick his ass if he takes it off.

Oh man. I can just imagine Jesus sitting around with Ultra-Car trying to make sense of Short Circuit, which requires him to wrap his mind around slightly more advanced tech than exists in the world he’s living in.
I imagine Jesus found Cap and Thor the most relatable of the bunch.
I think if he can accept the existence of Ultra-Car himself (who is apparently quite common now with the Zoomers), he won’t have any trouble with Johnny 5.

Saw the movie May 1st (benefit of working for Comicpalooza in Houston). It is easily one of the best Marvel movies made to date. Every character has at least 1 moment of awesome (most have more). Dialogue is snappy. The emotional underpinning is there. Dark Knight Rises will be hard pressed to outdo it.
Incidentally, if Willis somehow got a hold of the licensing rights to the Avengers logo, I’d want the last panel on a T shirt. Hell I might even get it printed up myself.

I dunno…I imagine Jesus is the kinda guy who you have to take in small doses.

You have to wonder while Jesus was watching Short Circuit 2 what kind of thoughts he had on the idea of making a sequel…
Given his limited background on the subject i’d wonder what his thoughts on the concept of sequels were.
Some would have you believe that Jesus was a sequel. And/or that Mohammad was the sequel to Jesus.
The fanfic messes up the sense of continuity.
Jesus is a sequel that came from a different production team and may or may not actually be canon.

Short Circuit 2 was clearly the best of the series.
Well, it did kind of go downhill after that.

…okay, tired memes aside, I once did consider Short Circuit 2 to be my favourite movie of all time. These days, it has been dethroned by The Incredibles.
I caught a press screening yesterday. Absolutely loved it. I really hope we get a Hulk movie with Ruffalo, he really stood out for me.
Would Jesus be game for film portrayals of his life?
Jesus enjoyed Life of Brian and thought Superbook was cute, but thought Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ was a little pretentious, and didn’t get some of the jokes in Jesus Christ Superstar.
I think he would find Passion of the Christ traumatic. It was probably painful enough to live through it the first time, being forced to relive it is just cruel.
Like having a holocaust surviver sit through Schindler’s List.
I imagine Jesus’s one complaint about Life of Brian is that Kenneth Colley looks nothing like him.
For the record (yes, I just got home from the midnight showing), it was an epic and wondrous movie. I will probably see it eight more times.
The Avengers would have been awesome in its own right, but the Hulk’s presence in it just kicks it up to 11,000.

Just got back from a screening. Such a great movie made even better by the fact that now Joss Whedon is on the verge of having directed one of the highest grossing movies of all time.

I feel bad for Jesus.
Excluding Short Circuit 2, he’s seen the best, first. Everything else will be such a shallow mockery to what he has seen. The Son of Man will grow cynical.

Easily the best movie I’ve seen this year. I want to make a joke about Jesus dressing in a blue sash, but it might contain a spoiler for the movie so I shall simply hint about it and see if people get the joke I’m implying.
This movie did not need Jesus praising it to make me know it will rock… but this does not hurt it.
It was awesome. I saw it last Tuesday. Because I live in the philippines (hi malaya!). Ah, the advantages of not having Free Comic Book Day.
