nah, the monster at the end of this book is nothing but grover freaking out about the book’s title and trying to prevent the reader from turning pages. but at the end he realizes that he was the titular monster and gets embarrassed.

I’d say that if you don’t have sympathy for someone who sat through that, you have no heart.
The thing is, it seems like she only had to sit through Jason’s summary of the movie, in which case yes, she should be more grateful for the time she saved.
