Hmm it’s a little sad that all the speculations about Donna only had to do with Mike. How she’ll take after Mike, how Mike will teach her, bla bla bla. I’m not gonna call everyone in this comment thread sexist, BUT…

I really don’t think that’s what will happen, just because it doesn’t fit the tone of the strip. Although serious moments abound, there is a difference between “serious” and “world-ending”.

Plus, I don’t see Amber as the type to neglect natal care, she’s not a substance abuser (the last time I remember her getting drunk was like, what, a year ago?), and blood-type miscarriages usually only happen on the second pregnancy. (which makes what’s-her-head in CAD’s miscarriage rather strange. . .) I think the baby is pretty safe. Hopefully.

Due to a webcomic I read, I can’t get the idea of naming a girl “George” out of my head. I also know I’d be a bad parent because I’d want to name my child something that abbreviates androgynously (Alex, Sam, Joe, et cetera) but use the one meant for the opposite sex (Male: Alexandra, Female: Alexander).
