I thought that was the point of mini-figures. You know, them all being the same except for paint. I feel like making new pieces for them is kind of cheating, really. If I want a toy to look just like Iron Man, I’ll just buy an Iron Man. If I want a LEGO mini-figure Iron Man, then that’s a more precise science with purposeful limitations.

Man, looking at those Marvel Lego’s is making me wonder what they were smoking when they dropped their deal with Mega Bloks. the details and articulation were a lot better (sometimes better than the bigger figures we get) and not just mass produced figures with painted on details.
