Robins age like women in anime. By the time you’re 12, you look like you’re thirty in the real world.
Not really, some anime women looked like 10 year olds even though they’re 20.

Her? The only girl Robin (not counting alternate universe Robins) is Stephanie Brown, and she’s around Tim’s age. 18 at the oldest. If you’re referring to the first Robin, Dick, HE is… Mid to late 20s ish.
Ages in comics are very open to interpretation, unless there’s a pointed hint (Like Tim saying he’s an emancipated minor)
I think Tucker was refering to Robin DeSanto here, hence the “her”.
True, if you’re Jason Todd. In the Teen Titans issue where he goes and beats the crap out of Tim, Jason looks about 30, despite being around….18ish? And only a little older than Tim.

I think this is actually supposed to be Dick Grayson as Red Robin/Kingdom Come Red Robin. Either him or Jason Todd. He doesn’t use the “teenager” body from what I can see, and as the strip points out his facial sculpt is considerably more…mature.
…that was a horrible joke in the second panel.

Maybe she doesn’t *write* fanfiction. Maybe Ethan just happens to know which fanfics she has in her collection.
At least 17 is close to legal, and in some places is over the age of consent (depending on many conditions, of course). As for the toy… I think the comic speaks for itself.
Actually it’s at-or-above the age of consent in nearly every state in the Union. 28 States (+ D.C.) have it at 16. 10 states have it at 17.
Only 12 states have their age of consent set at 18.
…and in Sweden we go all the way down to age 15.
Yeah, I had a bit of cultural confusion when reading Stieg Larsson’s “The Girl…” trilogy. FYI I happen to live in one of those states where the age of consent is 18 so the thought of 15-year-olds having sex with adults is still a bit disturbing to me. But I guess age of consent is completely arbitrary so, whatever, to each their own.
He looks like he could be Space Ghost’s dad, and he really disapproves of his son quitting the family business to start a talk show.

…that’s funny, because Steph’s journal entries during the story mention she’s still on her probationary period when Batman fires her.
Batman said she was Robin, so she was Robin. Now, she was an ineffectual Robin who got fired because Bruce is an ass, but she was Robin.
Even ignoring her, Tim is either asexual or gay. There’s at least a chance he’s not interested in guys. Jason, though, is clearly bi. What kind of a rigged vote was this?

Could you back up these statements? I don’t follow the Batman franchise, but these claims make me curious.
I dunno. I think Tim’s bi as well. He’s got major UST with Superboy, had a super crush on Dick, and you can just feel the angry UST whenever he talks to Jason, but he’s been around with the ladies, too. Steph. Lynx. Tam.

Robin, you do know that Dick Grayson is Red Robin before Tim, right? Granted, it was an alternate universe version of Dick Grayson but still.
Kingdom Come is quite possibly one of my favorite “alternate reality/what if-” comic series EVER.
How many people know that Dick Grayson was ever a Red Robin?
Besides, Tim is Red Robin now(or at least, I thought he still was. Been out of the loop). It makes sense to make a figure of a character that is currently out there, not from several years ago.
He’s still Red Robin, only not wearing the iconic costume anymore.
Give it a few more months, and jetpacked winged Red Robin WILL be the ‘Iconic’ costume :-p. So believeth the DCnU kings!
Then, there’s that time when Jason Todd becomes Red Robin.
And then there’s Ulysses Armstrong and then Tim Drake.
I thought of that too, but if you look it up, the entire rest of the series that figure is in is DCNU figures. The costume’s sculpt is also closer to the current Red Robin, with less detailed boots and belt.
The head though, is much closer to Dick Grayson as Red Robin. It’s really confusing.
Seeing as Tim’s run as Red Robin has been retconned out of existence, maybe they just decided to make it Dick?
Nope. Tim’s still Red Robin.
However, and this will show how poorly I’m doing keeping up with DC now, his costume was drastically changed in the relaunch, and the figure is more like his old one, which is in turn much closer to Dick Grayson.
Tim is still Red Robin… but the entire Yost/Nicezia run has been wiped out existence. He’s been inactive as a hero since Final Crisis.
It’s quite possible, even likely that this is supposed to be Dick Grayson/Kingdom Come Red Robin. He’s not using the “Teenager” body mold from what I can see, and yeah that facial sculpt is…not a teenager.
Plus, the new “DC All Stars” line is supposed to be all about “brand recognition” or somesuch (and no, not all DCnU characters)…I’m betting a whole heck of a lot more people have read Kingdom Come than ever read Tim Drake’s Red Robin series.
That would make sense, especially since they’re making a Magog figure.
Magog has been in normal comics for a number of years, and even had a self-titled series.
Yes, however he’s still “known” as a Kingdom Come character. More than Red Robin is really. The close release of the figures to one another suggests an intent.

I was expecting a Robin loves Hamburgers joke, honestly, but their sugar content probably isn’t high enough.
What I loved about Red Robin was before hand, most artists were still drawing Tim Drake as if he only weighed 90 pounds. Then he retires as Robin and BAM! He’s a foot taller and stacked. Gotta love DC sidekicks and their insta-aging.

None of this is helped by the fact that Tim’s Red Robin in Arkham City (and, hell, his normal Arkham design) looks at least 25, if not older.
Strange that they used the Dick Grayson Robin from the animated series under the same character.
Agreed, thought stretching out the Tim Drake animated model would’ve looked… weird.
what i can’t get over is how deep his voice is in the game.

Maybe I’m just stuck in the ’90s, but Tim Drake will always be the regular Robin to me.
Aside frm Red Robin and Black Canary, are there any other color coded birds by DC?
Black Condor and some called Green Arrow’s son Green hawk. You also have the BlaclHawks
The Blackhawks, Bluejay, Golden Eagle, Black Condor, Silver Swan…maybe more, but those come to mind offhand.

This reminds me of back when Tim Drake Robin got first got a series in the 90′s(?) one of the comments I recall was the artist actually drew Tim looking like a teenager as opposed to many who drew teens as sorta scrawnier adults and how refreshing it was to see teens not look like they’re 40 years old.
