Bloomington, Indiana, home of Indiana University and the setting of Dumbing of Age itself, will be my location on October 5! (That’s this Friday.) I’ll be signing Dumbing of Age books at Vintage Phoenix Comic Books from 5-7pm! I’ll bring a stack of them with me, of course, plus probably a few Shortpacked! books as well. If you live in or around Bloomington and wanna come meet me and maybe get a book or a sketch, I’ll be there!

Of course, the day I take a day off work to head to Indy. Still, have fun; it’s my favorite town and Vintage Phoenix is good people.

Why does Walky have a clipboard in the picture? I mean, I wasn’t aware that comic stores sold clipboards or had uses for them.
I don’t suppose Walky is performing the ‘Would you like to take a survey’ bit from Animaniacs?
On second glance, maybe it’s just a comic book, but the open pages look kind of grey & the open bit seems to be in the middle.
I just assumed it was a clipboard.
