I could make excuses for buying Wheelie. He had a new head and weapon! He was orange! … that’s about it!
But this G2-style Jazz version of the same toy, I dunno. I mean, I like myself some G2, but I’m not generally in for same-character redecoes of the same toy unless it’s Hot Shot or Dinobot. But I had this tiny desire to have All The RTS Jazz Mold Uses, and so I got him.
He’s nice.
I have no idea what I’m gonna do with him, but he’s nice.
He doesn’t have the G2 Autobot logo!
Maybe you could repurpose him as some other dude?
G2 Jazz had a prominent G1 Symbol as well, his only G2 symbol likely came from the small “Autobot” tampo tucked away somewhere on him.
You could paint it either gold (for electrum jazz) or silver (for movie-ish jazz)
I’d rather have G2 Jazz over either of those two ideas, I think. For example, I already have lots of Movie Jazzes that are actually Movie Jazzes. And an Electrum Jazz doesn’t solve the problem of “this replaces this other toy I like better on his spot on the shelf.” At least G2 Jazz is a G2 Jazz, which is a concept I like, even if it’s one that’s surplus to my purposes.
Stand him next to Tiny G2 Optimus.
Give him an assortment of knives, bandoliers, and heavy machine guns like in the Marvel comics.
Or give him a Matrix to hold and call him Jazzimus Prime!
Switch his legs and one arm with RtS Jazz to recreate the “turning G2″ look from the Generation 2 Redux box art.
But he’s so… not G2 Jazz. That’s why I went the Reprolabels route. Rainbow pride Jazz or GTFO.
You could always call him “Meister.” Or “Zoom-Zoom.” Or a better idea.
I try to get as many G2 references as I can; where does this one come from? Is he exclusive to an stores?
