Edit – Hmm, I guess this figure’s body mold is mostly, if not completely, different from the first (none Mystery Inc.) Velma figure. Still has huge boat feet though.

They actually down-graded the molds a tiny bit depending on how you look at it. In the original run Daphne and Velma had feet proportional to their bodies / character designs. In, I believe all, subsequent runs Daphne and Velma have been given comically large feet to help their figures stand up better. So they stand better, but now look goofy-er…

Geeze, a discount store near me (Wooster Ohio) has several of these sets for 8 bucks each (and yes, they’re all the Mysteries Inc version)
