Some molds just skew towards one faction more than the other for me, and with it's alt-mode, monstrous build, and sharp spiked shoulders the Universe Onslaught mold just looks Decepticon to me. Same reason I love ROTF Axor as G1 Axer but the upcoming Circuit just fails for me, some molds just don't fit an Autobot, even the worst of Autobots. It doesn't do much for me, especially surrounded by "real world" vehicles like this guy is inevitably going to be. I'm more OK with it for the Wreckers, who never looked like anything from Earth in the first place, though. (and is it bad that I'm already expecting some kind of TFCC/BotCon repaint set in Comic Wreckers colors? Or that awesome Wal-mart exclusive urban camo Ruination scheme that shelfwarmed forever and I never bought.) I have to admit, I’m kind of already over the WFC aesthetic. Having Clench certainly helps, but frankly I look forward to the day I can replace that version of Hardhead, he just looks too much like Onslaught to work for me.
