I have been looking all over for one since release day, in the norfolk/virginia beach area. I am in the military so cannot be at the store when it opens on truck day and seemingly every store in the state has people waiting at the door for them to open hoing maybe there was one case of two on the truck. These stores dont even have a place on the shelf for them because none have made it that far yet... If anyone want s to help a military bloke out i would forever be in your debt, i dont want to pay the scalpers on ebay...

I didn't know/notice the painted eyes were different. Or that he had painted eyes.

Well, the more you know.

I'm surprised you didn't make note of his painted eyes (which I feel makes more cartoon accurate than Takara's effort).
The baby blues were a HUGE selling point on me opting on Hasbro's rather than Takara's version.

I may pick him up, but he's just too small to be in scale with anything but some of the smaller car deluxes, based on vehicle mode size. MP-01 was a pretty good fit with Alternators scale-wise, though still a bit on the too small side. Ugh, I wish Alternators had continued... the only line that knew what the word "scale" meant...

I personally think it's leaps and bounds better than MP-01. I sold mine off on eBay as soon as this one was announced and shown at Botcon.

It also does all of the things the original 1984 trailer did, like open into a battlestation or repair bay. Roller is included, who can also tow the trailer himself if he wants to, while Spike drives. Unlike the original trailer, this one has spots to stow all of Optimus Prime’s extra stuff. You can nestle his axe and gun in their intended spots.

I was not comparing it to the MP-04 trailer.
