Well, that’s a completely and utterly different toy which won’t be out here for some time.
I like that she’s smaller than the FE version and the fact that her “wings” are on her shoulders rather than her arms, but the fact that they screwed up the colour scheme (wrong shade of blue, no pink tint to the silver parts) is enough to make me stick with my FE version.
That seems like a toy that will almost entirely suck by comparison rather than on its own lack of merit. It’s hard to follow a nearly perfect act.
Yeah. The size doesn’t bother me (she’s going to be out of scale [I]whatever[/I] size she is), I’m fine with the shoulder-wings (they look like she’s wearing samurai shoulder pads), and I prefer having the actual bike-parts forming her chest.
Actually, most of the PRiD molds seem like a step backwards.
…alright, it looks like I wasn’t paying attention. These are brand new figures – why are there two versions of her in the same scale already?
This is a great mystery of the ages. Maybe they’re trying to overcompensate for all the repaints where they were trying to get us to buy the same toy twice, by making two different toys and then doing their level best to stop us from buying both of them?
Hasbro got tired of seeing people attempt to justify their endless repaints by claiming that new moulds cost too much. Hasbro wants to make it very clear that their business model is centred entirely around fucking with you.
They were supposed to come out really far apart, but the first one got delayed over and over.
I’ll be getting this one as soon as (if) I can; I never found the FE trio (I saw a lone Bumblebee at a TRU once, but that’s it). TaxiBee’s more than enough for me, but Arcee doesn’t look happy in pink.
