Ah, but you see, the information on the blackboard is false. It was deliberately planted by the conspirators so that anyone getting too close to the conspiracy would be lead off in the wrong direction.
Somebody explain to me why I want them to get back together so badly even though Robin has hurt Les for no good reason. :-/
That, or Robin could get together with Malaya, for pure car crash value. Plus, none of them is exactly innocent, so it’d be less horrible when it inevitable blows up.
Is it only me who sees Malaya as a transient, soon-to-be-written-out character as long as she has no entry on the cast page?
Fools. Everyone knows the martians and Illuminati are on to this trick. They fill the media with images of conspiracies being unraveled on blackboards in the hope that those who attempt to find the truth will do the same.
Little do their victims know that chalk dust is a powerful mind controlling agent. That’s why it has been used in classrooms throughout the years to keep the little bastards in line while they are fed lizard-man approved propaganda.
Particularly astute students may be given the “privilege” of banging the erasers together after class, thus ensuring they get a concentrated does and can become loyal agents of The System.
A true conspiracy theorist uses permanent markers. Not only does it make the evidence harder to destroy (encouraging people to put earth shattering revelations on a medium that can be erased with a touch; coincidence?!), but sniffing them makes you sharper. Why, I sniffed a new package full of ‘em yesterday, and though up 20 new reasons the moon landing was fake!
I’ve been reading too many mangas these past couple days. Started to read this right to left and it took me a minute to figure out why it made no sense.
@Joebo–actually, that’s fucking hilarious if you do it sort of like that.
Start with Robin’s Rant. Next panel back, Robin speaks first. Works better if you skip the first panel on the bottom. one row up, read the speech bubbles top to bottom like normal.
makes the first/last panel kind of sad(der) lol….
first off Willis or whoever manages comments–sorry about the multi-posting, I’m done now commenting on the same thing only slightly different, with this one being the actual. My idea kept evolving, you know?
Secondly, to Joebo, you inspired me to rearrange today’s comic into a…..slightly different arrangement.
I had the same thought. Robin will use her Superspeed, and try to stop herself from pulling the Drama Tag. This was make a new Grimdark World where she will have to set things right again. This of course leads into the DoA universe where everyone is younger, and no longer in relationships. Also Its not sure if Ethan is Gay or not.
Oh wait thats a Stupid idea for a story. I dont know why I or anyone would think it’s a good idea.
Didn’t Mike draw a line between Jacob and Amber’s mom on that chalkboard? Is is really a good idea to be showing Amber the board? I doubt she’ll even look at it though so it’s probably fine.
Nope. Mike drew a line from Jacob to Amber. It’s even there, on the strip Willis linked.
I find it hillarious to assume that the line is from Jacob to Amber’s mom though. It would mean by the chart’s rules that: Amber’s mom has/had a crush on Ethan, it’s in a reciprocated relationship with Mike and Robin has a crush on her as well.
Though I have to admit while having known many “crazy” people, zero of them used chalkboards. There are out-in-the-real-world “crazy” people who do use chalkboards.
“Crazy” is not, however, an accurate psychiatric diagnosis, covering, as it does, many unrelated psychological, personality, and emotional disorders. (Sigh.)
Apparently.
You’re obviously a part of the conspiracy.
It only rivals Rip Hunter’s chalkboard in awesomeness.
Rips wasnt even able to stop Flashpoint, and a Reboot. This one is ahead so far.
Now now… don’t blame Rip Hunter.
Blame Barry Allen.
I do. Believe me I do. Thomas shoulda just let, Zoom waste him, and then made Zoom fix things.
All love for the chalk board.
Yes, yes they do.
Probably.
Well, let’s see, fans of Lost, that chart thingy on L Word…that’s all I got off the top of my head.
Doesn’t remind me of Glenn Beck at all.
No way! (Unless you think about it at all)
But if you’re able to think about things, you wouldn’t even know who that is.
Hasn’t Beck quit his show already?
He and his chalkboard shall live on in our hearts and/or nightmares.
He’s got an internet TV gig now, supposed to start next week.
Wouldn’t documenting a conspiracy on the blackboard constitute evidence of the conspiracy which means it is destroyed this can’t exist
Ah, but you see, the information on the blackboard is false. It was deliberately planted by the conspirators so that anyone getting too close to the conspiracy would be lead off in the wrong direction.
yes, I’ve done it.
Thought the Drama Tag was ancient history.
“Ancient history”? In Willisworld? The place where fans go nuts at the sight of an arrow?
No, but an insane person could.
Is this a trick question?
Absolutely not! I would call that person a genius. /sarcasm
I’ve noticed this trend among conspiracy theorists. I believe it’s a plot by the Illuminati. Here, let me show you my chart…
Why was the first thing I thought “Glenn Beck”?
Somebody explain to me why I want them to get back together so badly even though Robin has hurt Les for no good reason. :-/

And apparently when I say “car crash,” I mean “train wreck.” WTH. Need coffee nao.

The System has “loyal agents”? Meh. When I was young, webcomics were … well, there were no webcomics, yet. And they didn’t have loyal agents, either.
Well, at least she’s not blaming anyone but herself. In a way.

was going to try to get the Walky’s “My Tuesday Night is AWESOME” from DoA to be the last panel, but couldn’t figure that out…lol…..
Didnt the tag bring them together in the first place?
Just saying
So, perhaps the trick is to ride the drama and not let it ride you?
damn drama tag. without it these characters would have continued to be joke a day… all love for the drama tag.
Robin, it’s really simple: when in doubt you blame Decade!
ONORE DIKEIDO!
But there’s not Rider in this world.
That didn’t stop it from being his fault on Shinkenger-Planet.
After Decade ventured over to Shinkenger, he was at fault for everything. Even for Power Rangers Samurai.
Now, y’see, I thought that the part on the chalkboard that we can see? The circled word? I thought it was “DECADE’s FAULT!!!1111!!oneone1!111″
Holy…….I was just thinking at work today that we hadn’t heard about the Drama Tag in a while……lol…
Oh, Robin, I wish you and Glen Beck could trade places. That way the show wouldn’t be horrible and Glen Beck would be fictional. But I repeat myself.
I’m not sure if Amber or Robin’s got the winning punchline here, and having to choose between the two is an AWESOME choice
Actually…this is good. Les is no longer avoiding robin like the plague. There’s some hope.
Chulk Boards are for amataurs.
Photos, push pins and Red Pieces of string joining them is where its “at”
The end of your sentences is where a preposition should never be at.
…Wait. Shi-
stuff it Amber. I can easily see you giving Robin Cadbury cereal during the busy season to keep the store going.
…all this talk about a reboot makes me worried that Shortpacked! is taking the same route…
Nah, Willis is taking the Marvel tactic: a parallel Ultimate Willisverse, aka Dumbing Of Age.
I had the same thought. Robin will use her Superspeed, and try to stop herself from pulling the Drama Tag. This was make a new Grimdark World where she will have to set things right again. You are not helping your cause, Robin.
It doesn’t seem right that SOGGIES aren’t visible.
Glenn Beck called, he wants his chalkboard back.
This is so wierd I just bought Shortpacked pulls the Drama Tag a couple weeks ago.
That was a very well thought out question that many -many- people have been able to ask. And answer in sarcasm.
Didn’t Mike draw a line between Jacob and Amber’s mom on that chalkboard? Is is really a good idea to be showing Amber the board? I doubt she’ll even look at it though so it’s probably fine.

Ah yes, the return of the Drama Tag.
I prolly shouldn’t be wondering this, but what does the chalkboard say on it? Will we be seeing it in full or no?
From what I’ve seen of them, yes.
Though they never seem to have an eraser handy.
Yes.
And quite thoroughly, too!
Though I have to admit while having known many “crazy” people, zero of them used chalkboards. There are out-in-the-real-world “crazy” people who do use chalkboards.
