Yeah, first few years of the strip I’d say Amber and Ethan were pretty reliable reader stand-ins, probably Amber more because she was less likely to get involved with crazy antics than Ethan at first.
It’s really mostly context, though. Ethan’s usually the one reacting to the crazy Transfans. Next to Robin, most people seem reasonable (except Malaya, I guess?)

I mean Malaya seduced Leslie KNOWING about her and Amber’s history just for the lulz. Amber slept with les just out of SPITE just after explaining in great detail exactly how bad that would be for her, and Leslie gave into the sweet, sweet toxin that is amber, knowing were there relationship goes. The betsthng she did was get out.

Reminds me a lot of Nightwing Annual #2, great read.

I think you’re missing something here. Glasses aren’t just there for show, after all. They are clincially lined up for your specific eyes, to get things to zoom in or push back and to clear up and line up images when your eyes aren’t doing that for you.

Sure, the 3d glasses might handle the last part, as you don’t need to worry so much about line up the two pictures mentally. That’s assuming your 3d glasses are somewhere near your prescription strength, some how allow your eyes to focus right because of that, and hope that you aren’t nearsighted and that’s not what your original glasses aren’t there to correct.

It COULD work, they ARE a form of glasses after all. But that’s not going to be a long term fix in any form.
