And really; Komodo dragon? Do they not also have venomous saliva that can be squirted on their prey to paralyse it (for the convenience of not having to chase one’s supper as much)? And besides the dangerous reptile factor, they are also an endangered species and therefore protected. (Their nastiness is part of what keeps ‘em un-poached, tho’. That, and I believe they are idigenous to Madagascar, and they have laws and enforcers up the wah-zoo.)
If I am incorrect, I apologise. Hence the question marks rather than the surety of pontification.

As for adorable lizard appearances, I will put in my vote for Bearded Dragons!! (Kermit-style “Yaaaaaaayyy!!!!”)
