One of the cons in my area actually managed to avoid this problem by marking off a certain area as a “Glomp Circle” No glomping related injuries or “free hugs” solicitation signs.

Because he’s a fictional character in a comic…
And really, I don’t mean for that to come-off mean-spirited, it just seems like people in these comment threads are SO attached to the characters. You’d think that they were all real people, and not the medium to deliver punchlines and adorable artwork.

Now you have me thinking of cos-playing as an employee.
Green shirt or V neck T, black slacks, black tie if there is a shirt else black longsleeve underneath the T and I am assuming black footwear. … and something else … oh right … oval name patch ….. errr dang, is there a character that is a slightly overweight geek with a ponytail? … no … not comic book guy … wrong series …
