Please not the Hollywood version of EVA – I saw some of the drafts and it totally F@#$%^d the whole story as only Hollywood can.

Leslie didn’t kick Mike out, though. She kicked AMBER out. Leslie doesn’t seem to have as much of an issue of Mike being a dick as her feeling threatened by Robin’s feeling for Amber.

Heck, it likely didn’t actually have anything to do with Amber, though, now that I think about it. When you are having relationship issues, one of the first things one considers is if there is some outside factor that can be changed before you have to make more personal ones.

Can’t we all just agree that they’re both wrong? I mean, I love em both but they’re both kind of being asses to eachother. It’s a breakup and they’re conducting themselves poorly. This is hardly outlandish shit here. Breakups aren’t generally sunshine and rainbows. On the scale of things they’re probably at a three or four, where 1 is the ideal and mythical breakup where we leave on good terms and everyone’s cool and ten is the absolute worst breakup where lifelong enemies are made.

Heck, it’s downright tame when you consider that things have to be exaggerated for the drama. Three or four on the scale of real breakups is pretty much a bare minimum for fictional breakups. If they got any more civil we wouldn’t even have a story, just an off-screen breakup between story arcs.

Ahh, there it is in panel 6, the thing about Robin / Leslie that gets under my skin. Having been a self-avowed straight woman’s ‘exception’, screw that noise so hard. It’s like a great big “I SEE YOU AS MALE” subtext just rammed up under your fingernails.
