Thank goodness for Nolan for making a GOOD Batman movie. I was never happy with the 1989 portrayal. I consider those 4 movies t be about Elseworlds Batman, whose parents were killed by the Joker, not Joe Chill, and who is not only comfortable with killing criminals in cold blood but also uses machine guns in his Batplane.
