Aww, he’s just adorable.
Hope Leslie’s doing okay.
I believe Leslie is, as the man said, pretty ****ing far from okay.
I agree with everything you just said.
“Wheaton Shot First”
But he couldn’t have! Preemptive shooting is a dick move, which clearly violates Wheaton’s Law.
those of us who were raised on the REAL Star Wars know that sometimes pre-emptive shooting is the right thing to do.
Are you refering to the cleverly concealed and digitally edited event that took place in the Mos Eisley Cantina, in which the truth was altered so that Han Solo would not be at fault from Imperial law for having shot “in self defense”, when he in fact…is probably a mass murderer in his spare time? (but still damn sexy O_o)
While I agree that *Han* shot first, Wheaton could not have for above reasons.
If the other guy’s pointing a gun at you, it’s not pre-emptive. It’s pretty damned emptive.
You didn’t see Wheaton’s appearance on CRIMINAL MINDS a couple years ago.
dang, he disintegrated that box!
Packing peanut spray! Whee!
I’m honestly almost as happy to see Leslie irritable as I am to see Ethan giggly, because that means Leslie’s feeling something other than a combination of listless acceptance and soul-crushing depression. She’s probably got a way to go, but there’s hope for healing. Of course, she was always a bit impatient with the way Ethan’s toy obsession cluttered up her living space.
(Then again, I could be completely mistaken. Leslie’s grown considerably more spine in the last couple years than she had in her early appearances, but some scars really do never heal. At least… not on their own.)
Oh T, your comments on this storyline are the best thing about about it.
The man who agreed to a ‘catch the Riddler’ roleplay is NOT allowed to judge…
I think you have a point there.
Woah…woah wait…is that box arrow pointed UP!?
Wow, Robin’s bill really did fix everything.
It may not mean it was delivered properly, it only means the LESLIE saw the arrow and carried it properly.
… Why do I hear the cookie monsters ‘Om nom nom’ during the last panel?
I want that Wheaton Shot First shirt!
First off, since when is “world peace” = utopia? All it means is that there’s no wars. And obviously the customers are happy when they’re complaining. (I’m convinced this must be true after my last public service job.)
Second, “what’s in the box? What’s in the BOX!?”
You been reading the blog?
I can’t help but notice that everyone in the last 2 comics looked peeved DESPITE it being a Utopia out there…with the exception of Ethan when he hears whats in the box,but he could be in the middle of nuclear war and still squeee from the joy of transformers toys.
It kinda isn’t utopian for them, though… Les lost Robin, Ethan’s still dealing with the same crap he did before (although he’s getting laid more), and Duncan’s just a complaining arsehole, so he’ll never be happy.
Drew seems as happy as a guy can be (or admit to being) when his boyfriend’s in a foul mood.
Duncan cannot be happy unless he IS complaining.
A better way to put it, yes.
Don’t mind me. I’m just waiting for the cat to reappear.
Just wanted to tell you, David, that I like the new cast lineup in the page header. Although it looks quickly drawn, and as much as I’m sad to see Faz gone, I’m just so content that Ethan finally stopped cocking his head and trying to look “cute”. Must be because he’s getting laid nowadays.
I love the shadow beneath Leslie’s eye, as if she has been crying herself to sleep lately. Not that I “love” that she is upset, but the level of detail.
What shadow? It’s just the same cheek blush as always. Everyone has them.
Her eyes…they’re staring into my soul…
Great t-shirt. I want one.
Wait… a San-Franciscan’s idea of world peace, and they still sell “war toys?” With GUNS???
I’m not buyin’ it either, Ethan. There’s got to be a darker side to all this than just Robin and Leslie’s estrangement.
Why does Hivemind look so familar? http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/f930e/super_heroes_to_the_rescue/
