           IMDB says June 24, 2009, so either it’s highly prophetic, someone got an early screening, or Mr. Willis isn’t perfectly accurate in describing when he got these.

    Wait, people are attributing this strip’s “gross”-ness to 4chan? Isn’t it a reasonably accurate description of the movies that it’s talking about?

      There are parts of the description that are arguably accurate, and there are parts of the description that are gross, with very little overlap.

        I only saw the first movie, so I might be missing those bits about the sequel.
        I’m guessing the lines about huge gazongas, tight asses and objectification of women are references to the treatment of Megan Fox’s character, while the line about ridiculing minorities comes from the fat black hacker kid and his family, and the Indian call service chap.
        The boogers and farts sond somewhat familiar, but I do recall one of the robots getting pissed on by a dog, and later trying to recreate the process on a human.

        Is the bukkake and leg-humping a nod to the sequel, or just not in there at all.

          The leg humping is there, in fact there are three separate leg-humping occasions. The bukkake scene is where Bumblebee shoots… SOMETHING… all over a girl in the passenger seat.

          No boogers, no barfing, no bukkake, and exactly one fart.

          Objectifying women and ridiculing minorities is unfortunate, but certainly not “gross.” (And honestly, the argument for Glen as an example of “ridiculing minorities” is pretty flimsy. We’re meant to laugh at him because he’s a nerd, not because he’s black.)

    Well, to be fair, they DID get it right with mocking minorities. (quick, name the non-white character in the 1st film who was NOT pathetic and/or subordinate to a white one! Oh, that’s right, ya can’t, because it’s a Michael Bay film!)

    OtakuX, let’s you and me start an unpopular opinion club!
    Srsly though, I loved the ‘immature’ humor.. I thought it fit in perfectly with the demographic, and any other kinda humor would’ve just fallen flat or been swept under the rug. Instead of just OMG AWESOME FIGHT SCENES we also related HAHAHA SAM’S MOM to each other
    and yeah kiss players for the win. just sayin.

      The movies both made a gajillion dollars, and Bay himself thought the second one had a weak story. I think that either 1)most of the people who liked it are afraid to say so, or the more likely b)people who liked it moved on, and people who hated it just won’t shut up about it.

      Kinda like how “everyone” hates Avatar, yet it was somehow the most popular movie of all time. It was basically a high-budget summer action movie, people, not a crime against filmmaking.

    I have to say, re-work or not, this is actually funny. Though I doubt there were any fans asking for this in Bay movies, the movies did end up like this… Especially ROTF. I still feel ashamed of being a TF fan whenever I meet some guy I worked with 5 years ago, and he pats me on the back, and says “dude, I thought you were a total dweeb for liking TFs, but this new movie is awesome! I especially liked the scene where the yellow robot pees on the agents…” I want to hide and pretend I have never liked Transformers…
