Meanwhile, I’m still plowing through the nitty gritty of Book 4′s creation, and it’s going to be huge. I mean, I said it was gonna be 200 pages, but 200 pages covers a lot of ground! That’s almost a whole year of strips. (And it would be, if not for the additional content, such as the TNI strips.)

How come the actual TNI/SP! strips are .PNG files, while the links to them are always for .JPG files?
Huh. I hadn’t noticed that Jay converts my PNGs to JPGs for his site. Maybe I’ll stop saving them as PNGs, then, and spare him the extra work. I just thought they looked nicer!
At any rate, I link to the site, but the image that I link through is a purposefully unreadably small thumbnail of the comic on my own webspace.
No, the files are NOT converted to .JPG, just that they are put on the website using an address that ends with .JPG rather than .PNG (the browser I’m using can compensate for it, but I bet some others have a problem with it).
Then I have no idea. How the TNI website does things is up to them, not I.
If it’s serving them with the right MIME type, the file extension shouldn’t cause any problems in any browser.
Still weird though.
This is why Mattel’s Ghostbusters should have removable proton packs. Ethan could take the proton pack and head of Peter Venkman and put them on He-Man’s body.
