Because people are raised differently perhaps and have different experiences? And even then it's not always the parents fault. I had an attraction to girls in addition to guys amnd I hated myself for it completely and utterly.

I personally believed deeply in christianity but it was horrible when I did mentally speaking for me even though my parents were certainly not that strict- though they did shelter me a lot. I was absolutely terrified of the concept of people I both knew and didn't know going to hell and it really affected me. I was only even starting to become more sane at that age and even then there would have been a ton of stupid stuff I'd have said because I thought it to be right. Teenagers tend to think in black and white mentalities for almost all situations. Not all teenagers but MOST do. Teenagers are able to believe some stupid shit either through parents or their local town or whatever. The internet makes things a bit easier for people to break through NOW but even then there is still some excuse. He needs to be told his views are BS of course but he's a teenager and teenagers believe stupid stuff.

Not everyone is completely irredeemable at 16 FYI. And yes you may thing you're 100% right even but guess what? You're generally not and still an idiot. He possibly thinks he's right in what he's saying now, teenagers think life is simple-black and white forever or think certain things which are the whole world when in reality they're just stupid things which don't matter.

Yeah, same on Beiber. I don't like the sector of the music business he's part of, but it's not like it's anything new, and the kid himself is harmless. Best-case scenario, he'll take the Hanson route: strike out on his own at the first opportunity and start exploring what he can *really* do.

I was gay as a three dollar bill at sixteen. Not everyone is a bigot from birth, waiting for life experience to come along and tell her what's what.

Do you remember what it was actually like being his age? I knew everything. I was invincible. He's sixteen. That's firmly within a range of being able to think got yourself.

But it’s like when I read that the Zombieland writers were writing the script for the sequel. My reaction was like: “You mean the guys who wrote the funny zombie movie that sort of parodied zombie films?” I know it doesn’t mean it’s necessarily going to be bad, but it’s not exactly encouraging either.

If they HAD written a 'funny zombie movie that sort of parodied zombie movies', that would be a good sign. That would be an indicator of talent.

Unfortunately, they wrote Zombieland, which is nothing particularly resembling funny, so that's a bad sign.

But if Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright (who did write a funny zombie movie that parodied, among other genres, zombie movies) that would be an awesome thing.

Beiber deserves some respect. It's like the Dire Straits song said, "Money for nothing and your chicks for free."

Rolling Stone also edited the interview and made his words much more damning than they actually were. Not to mention you don't really ask kids about that stuff in the first place.

I haven't seen the Beiber movie though I work at a movie theater and there were girls everywhere...then again they were back for the "directors cut" which makes me "LOL". I have no issues with the kid. I don't like his style of music but I get that people do and its fine. If he's smart he'll try to evolve and stay relevant and not fade out like most people predict he will.

I totally hated GIJOE Rise of Cobra. It killed my enthusiasm to collect Joe figures. I didn't mind the movie on first viewing, then I saw it again with my cousin and liked it less. Then I started to watch it when it came to "On Demand" and shut it off half way through. So the way I see it, any director will do a better job then Sommers. (I hated the last 2 Mummy movies too.)

They should probably start over as if Rise of Cobra never happened.
