- Oooooh, you get to put it together! (oh crap you have to put it together)
- Man, just what I’ve always wanted, my own Robin head.
- Unfortunately, the bushel of hair behind her kinda keeps it from being useful for other headless toys.
- Comes with all you see here. Some assembly required.
- And after much glue on fingers, she’s done!
Yay, FedEx brought me my Robin statues! I heard through the grapevine (Twitter, that is) that Robin required some assembly. This is sometimes required for Patch Together statues, depending on their shape, but my designs had mostly avoided it thus far. We have a Monica statue from Wapsi Square that had to have its head glued on. And Amber needed her corn popper put together and fit through her fists. But no gluing yet! Certainly not this much.
Anyway, fun story. Because my life is a Wile E Coyote cartoon, I took one of her hands and her torso put two drops of glue on her wrist, and held the ends together for about five minutes. After that five minutes I checked to see if the glue had held. The parts came right apart, but my fingers, of course, were glued together. Grar.
There’s a handful still available! Get her while she lasts.

How well does she stand up on her own? Mine, as I told you on Twitter, has a very precarious center of gravity. Like the mythical G-spot its very hard to find Robin’s sweet spot for standing up without falling over.
Mine stands fairly well. Her exact center of gravity might depend on how you place her head on her neck as you glue them together. There’s a little wiggle room, and leaning it forward (which is the correct direction) probably helps.
Got mine today on the other side of the world. Can’t wait to her home.
Well got it home, opened it up and found that there were no hands included. Must be sold separately :/
Mine’s missing a hand too. Have you emailed / heard back from PT yet?
Yeah, I emailed and they said they will send the missing parts immediately
Make sure to search thoroughly for the hands. Mine were wrapped up tightly in the spongey inserts. I could imagine that could get overlooked.
(Though if you can only find one, then one’s definitely missing.)
Just got mine patched together (HA!). That was terrifying. I only used one drop of glue in every port, even the head and base. Any more than that and you’ll be risking spill over. Make sure to glue and hold them with the piece with the female end upside down until it dries, or once again, gravity may ruin the paint job. Getting the head in the right placement was tricky since there’s so much more wiggle room in the neck area. Hold these pieces together for at least a solid minute before you even think about letting go, and then do so slowly, over something soft so no damage occurs if limbs go flying. Good lord, she’s awesome, but if she ever takes a spill…just, make sure to keep some glue handy is all.
Got mine yesterday, she’s assembled and on the shelf – where she has to lean against the books a little.

Oh no! one of you patchtogether links in your banner ads has an extra h in the http! (hhttp) Just pointing that out.
Girl I know once glued herself to my brother like that. He had agreed to help her fix a necklace, next thing he knows they’re walking into the camp infirmary joined at the index fingers.
Got mine on Tuesday. Was surprised it was by FedEx as I was expecting a Football jersey to be delivered to my door by FedEx. Opened it up to find a plain white box and the Patch Together sticker and Robin box sticker not applied to the box. Now I got a box to use for gifting and some stickers… gluing the head was the longest, it took time. Fell off on my first attempt and I did see some of the paint inside start running. But she works and she stands well.
Robin should be the new version of that Christopher Walken head kicking around your old apartment that we put on everything.
That was Ron’s, but absolutely.
Pity.
Fire Guts GinRobin would have been the greatest thing ever.
You could cut off the hair, but then she might just look like Ethan.
I love Robin’s hair in the comic, but that disembodied with all that hair looks ridonkulous (in an awesome way). It’s like a D&D monster: a floating head surrounded by a black hole with dozens of little tendrils…. Either that or it’s a very weird beard in reverse.
The ultimate neckbeard.
