I, unfortunately, know more about NASCAR than I care to admit, being the only person in my family not to like it. At first I was kinda turned off by the idea of NASCAR dudes in Transformers, but after seeing the toys in stores and snatching them up I have to say these are some of the liveliest toys of the film trilogy. They have a neat blend of G1 and movie aesthetics and some nice original elements with the overhead weapons racks and chainsaw and chompy-claw MechTech weapons. And Topspin's "hair" looks more like dreadlocks than a mullet to me.

When you were a young child, your parents were killed in a high-speed carjacking by a pair of thugs on tricked-out motorcycles.

In an alleyway.

I'm talking about the thing in the middle of his face, where his mouth would be, not the shape on his chin. Above the chin, under the cheeks.

Looks just like my car.

In the parallel universe (1897-j-Gamma-74) where I'm a multimillionaire road vigilante.

Wow. What a difference claw hands make! Roadbuster bored me 'cause he was just a normal racecar. This one is too...but I don't know, the guns lining it really improves the look! Beyond that, though: claw hands! The robot mode looks awesome! And hell, I had Topspin when I was little. Didn't know it was Topspin...or even that it was a Transformer. But hey, we'll call it nostalgia and add on another reason to get it!

Yeah, but we know what? Up to wave 3? If the first two movies are any indication, we're looking at a year and a half or so of movie toys? So I'm fairly sure that given time, a successful movie and a brisk selling toy line, we'll see deluxe versions of Loadfoot, both weaponized and stock. As well as a deluxe weaponized Roadbuster and a deluxe stock Topspin. We may even see one or more of them in a week or so at Botcon.
