Yeah those are all in stores. Saw em in Target the other day. I ended up getting Twilight Sparkle (not the balloon one). I wanna get a Applejack next.
I find it rather weird tho that Princess Celestia is pink. In the show she’s white but nooo…her action figure is pink. WTF?
The fans have largely agreed that when the lich tyrant Celestia’s current body wears out, she will take the body of her pupil Twilight Sparkle, whose use of the Element of Magic has rendered her far more powerful than she suspects.
Thus, Pink Celestia.
I think I’m the only one scared by the newer style. I dug out some ponies from the 80s, after Willis’s post on the mcdonalds ponies. and comparing the new to the old, I’m convinced their eyes are slowly taking over their heads. By 2020 the ponies will be all eyes and foreheads, no more muzzles.
But the old ponies look more like dinosaurs than of horses…
That Spike figure in the balloon is pretty darn cute – spot on.
I went to ToysRus today. Alas, there are no My Little Ponies in South Korea.
