I'm signed up.

Was seriously toying with the idea of going for the $300 option (Er, yes dear, I <i>have</i> just bought a book from a man I've never met for nearly £200, but look! I'm on the intarweb. Sort of...), but I see they're already gone. I was beginning to wonder just how many Xmas temps you could get away with.

/hopes other people GET THEIR FINGER OUT AND COMMIT SOME DOSH

I want my book, dammit!!!

/goes for a lie down

P.S. Good job Willis - this multi-tiered malarkey has DSP approval.

Josh Lesnick was using Paypal to do preorders for his Girly collection (which looks great btw) when he hit 10k and Paypal froze his account. They wanted him to send out the books before his account could be unfrozen, which, of course, is impossible since that money was needed to PRINT the books. So he refunded it all and started over on Kickstarter. And he ain't alone. So...

"These virtues sounded even better once it was realized that Paypal can throw an enterprise-ending conniption fit if you raise too much money too fast." ... buh? What's that now?

Yeah, I'll have to pre-order shortly- having trouble getting into the site ATM...

The problem with POD is that the times I need Book 1 the most are at conventions, and it kind of sucks to have to buy 40 books before every con so that I can sell them. That's pretty damn expensive.

Have you considered going POD on older books? It's less profit per book, but it stays in print.

done and done. so assuming that its been a few days and you're already halfway there, whats gonna be the eta on making these things after you get all the monies needed? (weeks, months, bicentennials)not saying i want it now, but living in a generally sketchy neighborhood its nice to know when to expect stuff. anyhoo, i would definitely preorder book one as i have 2 and 3 but not one, and would love some its walky books when the chance eventually arises.
