Early this evening, a freight truck dropped off a pallet of Shortpacked! Book 4. Hooray! My buddy Steve helped me carry, box by box, the 1500 pounds of books down into my basement, and now they are finally here for me to start mailing them to those who funded the Kickstarter project. After I rest. Oh my lord, rest. Rest and Arkham City.
Mostly Arkham City.
I have a dummy page for Book 4 in the Store, but I won’t open that up to actual orders until I get through a chunk of the preorders. I already have hundreds of books I have to mail out, and I don’t need to add to my mailing pile just yet. I will keep you posted when that status changes!
I have not yet checked any of the boxes for parts of blenders. Hell, they could all be blenders.

That’d be awfully small for 1500 pounds of blenders.
Unless it’s… batteries for… battery-operated blenders.
Or 1500 pounds of blender manuals.
Is it bad that I kinda hope one of them is a blender, just for the lulz?
Eat a spoonful of peanut butter just before going to bed, on a day you’ve been doing physical labor or strength exercises. It really helps.
Hey, that Christmas card of Mike replacing Shortpacked! books with a blender did show him with a stack of Book 4s.
wonder if one of them boxes contains the other half of that blender
How much did the Blender make anyway.
WILLIS.
I got your book in the mail today. It is AWESOME!
Woooooooooooooo!
It doesn’t hit you how much of a business this is when you are trying to joke around with Willis in comments until you see what he has to sell.
He is the 1% Occupy Willis Basement.
The blender made up for his loss of approx $200+ in lost book sales at the con. It would have been hilarious if the top part of the blender arrived then we’d be on a quest to rejoin the separated pieces
No artists editions this time?
If there’s a demand for it, I figger I could add it. Usually the “Extra!” editions are there to help build up money more quickly than otherwise for the production of the book. But I could rethink that philosophy.
Ah. Thought as much. I think I planned to contribute to the Kickstarter, but it seems I forgot.
It’s just that all my other copies are signed and numbered, so I’d like to keep the tradition going.
I’m banking on you becoming famous(er), so that I can live off selling my collection in old age.
