Eh? I thought snow goggles were for protecting the eyes from light reflected off the snow to prevent temporary snow-blindness, as well as providing insulation to prevent the fluid in the eyes from freezing (causing permanent blindness of a more regular nature). Does Destro's skull-encasing mask somehow protect him from going (snow)blind? Are there lenses over his eyes or just eye-holes?

Well if Willis asks, maybe he can get this hat reproduced in red:

http://www.brokenarrowtoys.com/cart/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=503

Back when David was making "ears" for the Nightbeat recolor of Energon Hotshot, the owner of Brokenarrow offered up a set of actual reproduction Nightbeat ears. Figure, he'd likely produce a hat or two for Willis's Arctic Destro.

I had to re-open the tab after I closed it because I didn't notice what was going on in the background until the tab was closed.

Well done.

The 'Ironside' was basically a disguise, Daleks were posing as a human weapon during WWII (they even had created a fake scientist!). They were polite and servile, even serving tea so I'm guessing the point of the canteen was for any thirsty soldiers they would have met on the field.

That made me think of a Doctor Who toy I saw in Newbery Comics last week. It was the Dalek Ironside. I haven't seen any of the episodes that this particular Dalek was in, so I don't know the context of why it was designed the way it was. But it was a Dalek painted army green, with a bunch of Rob Liefeld style army pouches around it's mid section (or mid cylinder), and it had a canteen! WTF does a Dalek need a canteen for? I thought the whole point of the Dalek was that their six foot phallic shells were completely self sufficient.

She said "doink".

Like duh man - according to the latest series of comics, Destro's skin is being held in place by nanomites - it doesn't offer any sort of ballistic advantage! :D

Either that or a metal mask would get really friggin' cold in the arctic, so it makes sense he'd want to cut the wind a little with his goggles... er...
