so where does that bit of orange unpaintable plastic go in robot mode? could they have molded it blue to fit in with the car panels?
I had no interest in previous versions of this mold, but those colors are actually really nice... too late now, I suppose

I also now have 4 "Not Shots" and not a single actual Hot Shot. I've got Nightbeat, Breakaway, Roadbuster, and Dion. One of each mold except for the Armada, but then again, that's the form the Universe one represents...

I got my Dion today too, I was pretty excited for it (more excited for it than I am for the Counterpunch I paid $70 for). I never got the Hot Shot mold, so this was my first time with it. You were right about the bumpers killing his shoulders, but, if you pull the bumpers off, you can do a lot of things with him that makes him into what I consider a really fun toy.

Reverse the bumpers, and they don't restrict his shoulders, thus making him a regular figure with great articulation. Or, plug the bumpers into his forearms, and then you can plug the launchers into where the bumpers went on his back, and fold them over his shoulders, hey, now he has collar cannons!

Seriously, I actually really like this guy on his own merits. Now that I have him, I think he's honestly one of the best of the Universe deluxes. Cop-Tur isn't very good, though. Poor guy can't balance his own kibble (and when you do what I do with the bumpers, there's no longer anywhere to put Cop-Tur)
