Why do it quietly and Legitimately when you can do it overtly, noisily, illicitly and get the attention of your enemy so you have another excuse to have them beat you up?

You know, twice recently I have had to ship a package to the States. And on the little Customs form is a field in red with two checkboxes: "If this parcel cannot be delivered, do you want to (_) Return it at sender's cost or (_) Dump it?"

I have never seen this on any other form for anywhere, and it makes me a bit nervous about the USPS, that apparently stuff is "undeliverable" often enough that they need a little field about it on anything that gets sent with them.

They still kick UPS's ass, though. Not that that's hard.

Now, if only I could get stuff across the border from the States faster than 4-6 weeks. It's about 3-5 DAYS to get stuff into Canada from Hong Kong, and oceans are involved there. DAMMMIT, USA. It's just PAPER. It's just a BOOK. GIVE ME MY STUFF!!! Fuck, it took like two MONTHS to get velcro name tapes outta there!!

NOTE TO US BORDER AGENTS: Velcro name tapes and kids' books are not security issues.

GIVE ME MY STUFF!!!

Heh. Dave, if I get the other half of a blender, then once I stop laughing I'll send it to you. Or, like, hold it hostage against a SP book. One or the other.

This is fucking hilarious, but the plot isn't really that far from the sort of thing that the Decepticons really pulled on the Eighties cartoon, which reminds me of just how stupid the cartoon supervillains of my youth really were.

Think about it: why include that whole "murder the humans" protocol that's just going to attract the Autobots' attention before the plan is complete? Heck, why bother mailing the blenders out at all? They could take the blenders (or one big blender, whatever), dump bio-matter in them themselves, and have all the Energon they could want before the Autobots even know what's happening. Hell, they could do it all legally if they wanted - a few Cybertronian trinkets could buy them whole industrial fruit orchards, plus workers, and they could just sit back and let the Energon stack up while the Autobots can't do a damn thing.

As a ready of both, I vote yes! Start with "Roomies", and do a comic-reading marathon all the way up to Shortpacked!... it's all in the same continuity.
