I don’t know about you, but I DVR’d it because I’m the doofus in the purple hat who asks what’s not to love.
You TIVO’d it because some disasters must be recorded, so that later generations never make the same mistakes again. (Also so the clown never gets to move past acting like a tremendous tool)

Ah, kids TV presenters…so generally annoying. Although The Zone, YTV’s afternoon programming block is generally pretty good…better than the Vortex or Crunch (the old weekend morning block and its replacement), anyway. Maybe accounting for the target audience being tired from school on weekday afternoons, and full of sugary cereal on weekend mornings…

Have you ever heard the mousy voiced little sk … lady from YTV the zone way back when? A 20 something you thought way doing a bad impression of voicing as a 4 year old – The sick-sad-truth is that her voice needed no electronic modification, she really does sound like that in real life. She is also totally clueless of nearly everything that kids (and a number of adults) are into with respect to games, animation, comics and such.

Well given the quality of Transformers prime compared to the quality of the new GI Joe show it’s obvious why they focus more on prime. Neither show is horrid but the new GI Joe toon just has such bad animation and very generic character designs.
I have no idea how anyone can possibly think that the G.I. Joe cartoon has bad animation.
It seems to be a recurring theme among internet complainers who know absolutely nothing about animation.
Seems pretty choppy to me but hey, i have more of a problem with the generic designs. I still like the show though. I like it alot.

How noses are drawn has nothing to do with animation! Animation is how things move.
I actually really like the new Joe toon’s animation. According to the making of that aired on HUB, it’s actually pretty revolutionary.
According to the Hub the new transformers isn’t supposed to look like a knock of version of Beast Wars, animation wise.
You want to talk bad animation? Nothing, and I mean nothing, is as bad as the old Spiderman and Rocket Robin hood cartoons I was forced to watch as a kid.
Do you mean the ninties or the sixties Spider-man? I mean both had bad animation but the 60′s Spider-man was just a step up from a motion comic.
Anyway I was not insulting the show it just seemed choppy to me.
PROTIP: there was no ’90s Rocket Robin Hood.
Maybe it’s me, but I’ve watched Hub and have yet to see this…thing.
This brings to mind half the ‘Don’t Do Drugs’ presentations that I was forced to sit through as a kid. So boring and so annoying. You just want to reach out there and wring their necks. Am I right?
I thought the G.I. Joe toon was much better than Transformers: Prime. The CGI sets and scenes looked drab, dark and boring. Seems such a step down from Transformers Animated. I almost couldn’t get past the bland visuals to pay attention to the story. I’d prefer mediocre 2D animation over cheap CGI.
When I originally saw the character designs for G.I. Joe Renegades, I didn’t like them either, but it all looked much better in motion. And it’s an interesting new take on the mythology.
I had to comment just to ask the question, who the heck eats a corn dog while sitting on the toilet?

So are Prime and War for Cybertron supposed to be in the same continuity? Granted I’ve only played the first level of the game and seen the first two episodes of the show, but so far this theory seems to be contradicted by (only) absolutely everything.
The character designs bear no resemblance at all (are those two Soundwaves even the same guy?), and why is Dark Energon suddenly a new thing to Megatron and Starscream? Didn’t Starscream spend a few millenia guarding a facility that studied it? Didn’t Megatron already beef up on it? In front of Starscream no less?
I’d love to hear the rational behind linking these two things.

Transformers Prime and WfC are two alternate versions of the same basic “universe.” Not too hard a concept.
