I think I’m the only person alive who liked Spider-man 3. i thought it was funny…
I caught it at midnight, in a packed theater, for our school’s after-prom party. Good god it was hilarious, with people constantly talking shit at the screen. The most memorable moment was when after Peter slapped MJ, there was an audible gasp, then clapping, then laughing.
“HIT HER AGAIN!’
I saw is in a packed theater on opening night. At the slap, as the audience is just finishing the audible gasp, some guy in the back screams “SPIDER-SLAP!”
I kinda wish I’d been that guy.
Yea, our packed theater was making comments through the whole film. My favorite was when Harry was dieing in Peter and MJ’s arms some guy yelled “Kiss him spiderman!” in the back row.
While my Spiderman 3 viewing was unmemorable, during Trinity’s death scene in Matrix 3 the movie was much improved by someone yelling “Just DIE already!”
I love Spider-Man 3.
Much like the pie, that movie is so good.
Liked, but thought it could be better. They shoulda saved Venom for the next movie, and just kept the suit in that one (losing it right before a big final fight with Sandman at the end).
Short of how packed the villains felt, and the whole ‘goblin’ scenario that seemed too short, the entire movie was enjoyable and I liked alot of parts of it. It just kinda got dragged down with the three villains instead of two.
I like how you used ‘short’ and ‘packed’ in the same sentence but not together. Lol
Wow. I thought I was the only one! I can’t even mention it around my friends w/o causing an uproar.
I happened to be lucky enough to catch the movie while a guy watching it picked up the motto “Emo-man, to the rescuuuueee!”
Poor emo Robin. I would love to see more of it, though.
I saw Robin and I actually screamed “Holy Gods of Everything!”

…Kay, that sounds stupid, yes, but somehow it wouldn’t surprise me if she plotted this out as one big epic pointless gambit.

Consider this, though: Sydney was fired from Shortpacked! Just a few days before the Drama Tag arc began. There had to’ve been something behind it.
Tho, it doesn’t explain Galasso burning the Tag…
I find it hard to care about Sydney right now, I just want to see Robin’s crowning moment of awesome when she returns to normal.
In panel 5, is that the face of someone trying hard not to laugh at her beloved’s sincere but ridiculous funk?

I’m thinking she’s just glad for the interruption so she can make a plan on how to deal with Robin’s new brand of crazy… Kind of like the Twix commercials only without the candy bar… or the freeze frame… never mind it’s not like the Twix commercial…

Yes, but on the other hand, Sydney has shown that she doesn’t get to win but rather have defeat served at the apex of apparant victory. Whereas Roz wins even when she might be losing.
This can probably only end in:
A) Robin wins on a recount/revelation that Sydney’s ineligible/revelation that Sydney rigged something/other
or
B) Sydney’s win is legit, but puts her in a position that destroys whoever would’ve been elected, thus ironically saving Robin.
I propose a battle between the two. Winner is the less annoying of the two. Or more annoying. Or something goddamnit just make them fight!
Or better yet, a hookup! SyndeyXRoz FTW!
Yeah but we are suppose to hate Sydney as she’s the “villain” While Roz for all her actions has done some good things too. Just done a lot of things that make us hate her too.

Sorry Willis, no matter how epic the shading, I just don’t think you can make Sydney look intimidating. She’s giving off a kind of Charlie Brown/Doc Emmet Brown vibe at the moment…

Based on historical trends (including recent history), I’m speculating over-the-counter whiteout.
I think Sydney is supposed to give off the foolish Batman villain, while only the most evil characters get REALLY freaky lighting. Just check some of the shots of Penny from It’s Walky! and you’ll know what I mean.

LOL, Sydney can brag now, but wait until she actually has to fulfill her duties as an elected official. Methinks she didn’t think this thing through the “I’ll beat Robin” part.
I’m rather surprised at how Robin is taking the loss. If I remember right, she never wanted to be in Congress to begin with. It the purely the result of her being on the ultimate sugar high.
As for Sydney… Why is she still wearing her Shortpacked! uniform? If she hates the group so much, why does she continue to dress like them?
What Robin’s reacting to is the takeover of her entire world by drama. Losing the election is nothing more than a symptom of that.
As for Sydney… She gets the stock default clothing for this strip because she’s far too shallow a character to deserve a personalized outfit.

Clearly Robin was too attractive. And was probably less ‘noticeable’ than Pelosi… -Still has no idea how someone like Pelosi could still win, but eh. Politics is politics-
Also, if you recall, she probably alienated her supporters and donors because she just took money to spend on herself, and probably didn’t support any of their causes (Or it came out she got donations from NAMBLA).
“NAMBLA SUPPORTS GAY CANDIDATE” does have a kinda icky tone to it…

I think everyone is missing the point. Robin is not upset about losing the election. She doesn’t care about it. She is emo because the whole country has desolved into Drama. The election in my point of veiw had no winners but a lot of losers. People were voting against people not for people. The cause of the whole thing was Robin pulling the tag. She is also a super speedster. If she is upset enough she lose her tan at superspeed. She is also more prone to low surgar which makes her pale. When is the last time she had candy?
Just burn the house down and have them all live in a storm drain.
