May he was raised by a wishy-washy single mother who coddled him and let him get away with anything when she could be bothered to pay attention to him and by an explosively temperamental drunk uncle with mob connections that would beat his ass one day for something that his mom said was ok the day before. I knew a guy who went bad because basically that. Does not mean I hung out with him or liked him or anything, but I did pity him.
