Even in the face of the speculation, I was expecting Mike!Kitten. Still, there’s potential for upholding Roz’s current run of being thoroughly disliked by fans if it turns out that this adorable ball of whatever really isn’t hypoallergenic. She shouldn’t be promising, in any case.
I find real hairless kittens disturbing, but apparently this one isn’t actually a cat at all, but some sort of goo-thing? One would think that would be even worse, but it actually comes off quite well.

I think you might be looking too deeply into a deeper connection. This really could just be that Davan posted an ad of some sort and roz answered it. I mean if roz had any connection to neurotica.com Davan wouldn’t have made the comment about meeting people from the Internet. He’d probably be questioning whether it was a good idea to entrust the kitty to one of aubrey’s contacts.

How perfectly coincidental! Yesterday, my mom’s semi-feral tortoiseshell named Eunice had a litter of 6 on the driver’s floor of my 1969 Olds Vista Cruiser restoration project. Mommacat & kits are doing just fine. There are two gray kittens, two orange tiger/white kittens, a calico and a mostly-white with faint orange.
My family tends to use human names – so far, depending on what sex they are, I’ve come up with Ransom and Eli (after Ransom Eli Olds), Lucille (for the calico, after the song “In My Merry Oldsmobile”) and Terry, after a friend of mine who passed away a couple of years ago – it would have been Terry’s 49th birthday. Any other suggestions?

Considering the speed with which Leslie’s entire skin was inflammed after a tiny bit of cat fur got on her before, I think it’s safe to say that this kitty is hypo-allergenic.

One thing I wonder about though.. Why were two of the kitties Sprinkles and Choo-Choo Bear had, without fur? According to SP, the Choo-Choo lost his fur from chemo-therapy. Wouldn’t this cat and the other one have full coats? Hmmm…
I’m betting that the necessary amount of chemotherapy to make his bones flexible enough to traverse sewer pipes would’ve affected his reproductive organs to the point where some of his offspring would be hairless.

Seriously, I only found out about this one, like, a month ago, and he’s done this before, with Girls With Slingshots and Penny and Aggie, both of which I was only reading for a bit when they did a crossover thing with Something Positive.
It’s starting to freak me out a bit.
Davan has also popped up in http://www.the-whiteboard.com (mainly in a picture on the wall behind Doc). Not sure if that really counts as a crossover… but he’s been there.
Don’t forget about his crossover with the now-over webcomic Queen of Wands where it turned out that Choo-Choo Bear was stealing Kestrel’s panties, which Davan was then selling on eBay.
Hell, Kestrel ended up becoming an S*P character after her own comic ended.
