I… hope that wasn’t the only joke in the comic. (I have not read The Last Stand of the Wreckers and might give it a try sometime. I stopped reading IDW comics somewhere around AHM #3 or 4.)
…I was expecting someone to threaten to shoot me in the face for that.
No foolin’, go get this comic. Drop that baby and forget the oven being on, drive straight to a comic shop and kick the door in to get LSoTW. I’m only a casual fan of any Transformers that aren’t Animated, but I immediately loved the hell out of it. It doesn’t even matter if the references fly over your head, it’s brilliant as a standalone.
Mhh, SG Galvatron for sure knows how to shake his fist like normal Galvatron. Well, atleast he does not always shoot at his own troops…
And wishing that Ravage just gets stuck there is mean…sure hilarious…but still mean!
No not Ravage. How could you say that Cliffjumper; oh yeah he can cause Cliffjumper is normally a prick in the first place expecially in Shatterd glass when he becomes a Depection.
There’s no real cue to let you know you’re looking at SG Galvatron. For me that caused a double-take effect when I got to the second panel, which detracted a lot from the impact of that panel and pulled me right out. The train of thought was something like:
“And here’s…SG Ravage? That was Shattered Glass Galvatron? How was I supposed to know that? Nothing to really show that… well, here’s Ravage… dammit, I was supposed to find this cute, wasn’t I?”
I think a “Meanwhile, in the Shattered Glass universe” or something like that would have helped a lot.
As funny as this was, does anyone else wish we’d gotten some plot development? I mean, filler in the middle of a story arc is a little off-putting, even if it’s good filler.
I’m part of the sub group that sometimes prefers the filler to the plot (but still happily reads both) so… nope, not me! (I do think it was a reasonable break point story wise though.)
I’m sure a good number of you find these comics hilarious, but this comic marked the point where I started hitting “next” as fast as possible, because the way he talks INFURIATES me.
Wasn’t this aluded to in that one page where I think it was Sydney on CNN, and the note at the bottom said something about a guy discerning his ass from a whole in the ground, along with a white panther waving? Sorry, my memory is terrible, even though it can’t have been more than 30 minutes since I read that one.
I deeply want a plush Shattered Glass Ravage. SG Ravage needs to be hugged.
A plush SG Ravage…that can transform.
You mean a popple?
They’re in it just for fun.
Like Softimus Prime and Slumblebee?
Ya know, if Transformers comics were actually written like this (with a sense of humor that is) I might actually read the more often.
Last Stand of The Wreckers had a sense of humor.
…What? You can’t tell me that “Wreckers… combine!” wasn’t funny.
…Well, I thought it was funny.
I… hope that wasn’t the only joke in the comic. (I have not read The Last Stand of the Wreckers and might give it a try sometime. I stopped reading IDW comics somewhere around AHM #3 or 4.)

I don’t get the last panel.
They’re secretly wishing SG Ravage doesn’t come back, as well, despite having chastised Cliffjumper.
My question is why Cliffjumper is just casually hanging around with Galvatron and Starscream anyway.
Cliffjumper got trapped in SG in the original SG comic. Since he wasn’t you know… evil… he joined the SG Decepticons.
That’s what Cliffjumper does in Shattered Glass!
….huh. I didn’t notice them crossing their fingers until I read that.
They’re telling Cliffjumper to not be mean, but they hope (crossing their fingers) that SG Ravage stays in our dimension as well.
Oh. Uh. Hilarious punchline.
Does he say “can haz cheeseburger?”
I don’t get it. Is this DYW-appropriate? Not a transformers fan/toy collector sooooo
Demn you Willis! Git off my lawn!
Awww that’s mean…true…but still mean
where’d you get this font (looks like IDW’s old TF comics font) – would like to use it.
It’s a Richard Starkings ComiCraft font, one that was used in 2003′s “Universe” comic, and it costs moooolah. (Picked it up on a sale day.)
Mhh, SG Galvatron for sure knows how to shake his fist like normal Galvatron. Well, atleast he does not always shoot at his own troops…
And wishing that Ravage just gets stuck there is mean…sure hilarious…but still mean!
How does a robot cross its fingers?
With deftness and alacrity.
(And little whirry servo sounds.)
Yes. Very yes. SG Ravage is amazing.
No not Ravage. How could you say that Cliffjumper; oh yeah he can cause Cliffjumper is normally a prick in the first place expecially in Shatterd glass when he becomes a Depection.
Oddly… That might actually be what this year’s Botcon story is.
I get the feeling that Willis is in on the story and this is some viral advertising going on.

Two words: Blue Eyes.
Shortpacked got mentioned today at Comic Critics:

Ah Wheeljack, you are such a crackpot…
And why did they only send SG Ravage to stop him?
As funny as this was, does anyone else wish we’d gotten some plot development? I mean, filler in the middle of a story arc is a little off-putting, even if it’s good filler.
It’s BotCon week. This is how it is.
I’m part of the sub group that sometimes prefers the filler to the plot (but still happily reads both) so… nope, not me! (I do think it was a reasonable break point story wise though.)
Yeah this how it goes every Bot Con, Comic Con and any other Con Willis goes to.
Which, considering how many Cons Willis goes to these days, it’s a wonder we aren’t getting anything BUT filler.
Though if all his filler was this potentially awesome, I wouldn’t complain.
For some reason, Starscream and Galvatron’s expressions in the last panel just crack me up.
So since SG Ravage is a total overly happy Nethead I wonder if he also has a long cat mode
So… anyone else see the Disney world tag?
i was ravage at bot con X3
It’s so cute! I want it! <3 And I totally don't get the joke…
I’m sure a good number of you find these comics hilarious, but this comic marked the point where I started hitting “next” as fast as possible, because the way he talks INFURIATES me.
If you committed a mass genocide against a minority group, you’d still get in to heaven purely because of your creation of SG Ravage.
Good show, Willis.

Ravage saying “O Hai” will forever make me imagine he is voiced by Johnny (Tommy Wiseau) from “The Room”
Yep, was just thinking the same thing.
